What: Wooden star.
Supplies: 5 twigs, string. It would be nice if the twigs are somewhat straight.
Duration: 10 minutes (unless you need to find a few twigs first).
How to: Cut the twigs so they are of the same length.
Lay them in the shape of a five-pointed star. Tie the string around the ends to fasten the tips to each other.
The story behind it: Once again we’ve been foraging in the nature area around the corner.
This five-pointed star has been on my list for ages, I just love the simple look of it.
Right now it’s standing there on its own, but it will be part of our Christmas table.
The star is also very easy to make with your kids, they can cut the twigs, keep them in place and tie the knots.
