December 21st

What: Gift wrapping.

Supplies: Wrapping paper, potato, knife, (finger-)paint.

Duration: 30 minutes.

How to: Cut out a Christmas tree in the potato with your knife.

Dip in in the paint and press onto your wrapping paper.

It doesn’t get much easier!

The story behind it: If you’ve never made prints using potato’s, raise your hands!

I can’t remember ever making potato prints (but I might have… mum, dad?). So this was a lovely chance to get on board and do a little stamping with potatoes.

And the 5-yo thought it was a lot of fun too. It is difficult to mess it up so you’re almost guaranteed a great time!
