    What: Twig Santa’s. Supplies: Twigs, paint, brush, marker and a knife/pruner. Duration: 15 minutes How to: Cut the twigs in the desired length. Cut the top so it’s pointy. Also cut a bit off of the bark in the front, which will be the face. Now it’s your kids turn. Paint the tops red – you can either use your fingers, or a brush.     Hi all, Here a quick and dirty (if you don’t watch out) diy on how to make a tic-tac-toe-board and stones, if you’re feeling like making your own. You need a tree trunk, (finger-)paint and rocks. If you, like us, want to make a somewhat smooth board, then I also recommend sandpaper. My daughter and I went on a tree trunk hunt on the ground of my parents-in-law’s summerhouse. Luckily for us, they had just chopped down a few trees, so we got to pick from a nice stack of trunks. We sanded down the trunk, so we won’t get splinters in our fingers in the heat of the game.…

    Hi all! Do you all long for those warm summer nights in your garden or on the balcony, just as I do? Having a chilled drink, sitting on a bunch of cushions in your favorite piece of garden furniture and just relax? And when the sun goes down, you light a bunch of candles? My daughter and I have made a little video on how to create very subtle and warm lighting. We used walnut shells, that we filled with wax, so they become floating candle-boats.
